Changes in the last few years have been drastic.  When Connie recruited me into the business, home buyers were having a very difficult time finding real estate to purchase in the Washington Metro Area.  Especially in Montgomery County, the market was flooded with anxious buyers who were willing to compromise their buying power to make them a more attractive purchaser.  Montgomery County, like other areas in the Washington Metro Area, had very low inventories of homes to purchase with an overwhelming supply of home buyers.  This combination of factors led to huge increases in prices which focred some purchasers to  move further away in less competitive markets or out of the real estate market altogether.  Well, fast forward to present day market, and the situation has flipped.  Now, the market is flooded with single family homes, townhouses, and condos. This factor, coupled with the lack of buyers, has generated a market in which prices have corrected slightly downward and sellers are being forced to be flexible to sell their home.
